Zhivago is a Western Australia based label known for their signature fusion of impeccably tailored ready to wear, avant-garde separates and show stopping red carpet gowns. This year at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, Lara and Lydia, showcased their new collection, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint.
The opening of the show was grand. You could feel the vibrations of the sound thumping beneath your feet as a neon Sphynx begin to appear over the projector. Immediately, this got everyone sitting upright and their eyes focused on the runway ready for the model to walk out. The vision of Ancient Egypt was introduced by a spectacular shimmery gown in metallic gold paired with knee high gladiatorial sandals.
After the show, we were escorted by Exposure PR for a special seasonal dinner with Rekorderlig Cider. We enjoyed a four course meal that was paired with four different rekorderlig cocktails made for the meals.
